Minnick Education Centers
The Minnick Education Centers are private, non-profit schools offering intensive educational and developmental services to seriously emotionally disturbed youth, ages 5 to 22, with behavioral and academic needs that prevent them from experiencing success in a regular public school environment. Campus are located in Roanoke, Harrisonburg and Wytheville.
Minnick Education Center's vision is to create a regional resource for special education students and professionals, not only in the surrounding communities, but also in the Commonwealth. We hope to provide youth with academic and life skills that assure success in school, in family and in the workplace.
Our Mission is to provide complex-needs youth with opportunity, encouragement, and professional services to meet their educational and emotional needs within their own community.
Our Goal is to help students develop skills that will allow them to return to public school.
