A Message for Local Referral Agencies of Foster Care and Juvenile Justice Children
Do you know a boy or girl, ages 8-18, in the foster care or juvenile justice sytem who needs a mentor?
If so, our Mentor Match offices in Richmond, Hampton, Harrisonburg, Roanoke and Bedford are now accepting referrals for our open mentee positions. The requirements for a mentee are the following:
MentorMatch encourages regional social service departments, foster care agencies, court officials, schools, churches and other similar agencies to contact us to see if your referral child qualifies. We are training mentors who want to be matched with a mentee. This is your opportunity to bring a vulnerable youth together with a trusted guide for one year.
